John Singer Sargent "Alfred, Son of Asher Wertheimer."
Because of his notability in capturing light in his paintings, I could really take a lesson from him. He is known as "the master of light." I chose this painitng not only because it would work well with the limited pallet, but it also shows the intense illumination of light that my most recent paintings have been lacking a bit.
