Look at how Rauch organizes the complex narrative and illustrative information in his composition, particularly his use of large, bold, colorful shapes. How does Rauch simplify the wealth of visual information in his paintings? Is there anything he does that you could steal? Also, be on the look-out for interesting temperature changes.
